Tasty sugar-free and flour-free children's cake: what you can make the layers and cream from
Making a cake for the youngest children can sometimes be a real challenge because the use of sugar and flour at this age is not very welcomed. However, there is a way out. Cakes and cream can be made without these ingredients, and the taste will be unexpectedly unparalleled.
A food blogger with the nickname ira.smachnenko shared her recipe for a sugar and flour-free cake on her Instagram page.
Ingredients for the cakes:
- 100 g dried apricots
- 3 medium carrots
- 100 g nuts (in this case, hazelnuts)
- 4 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
Cream: banana + peanuts
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the dried apricots thoroughly in cold water and cover with boiling water, leave for an hour. Blend the nuts separately in a blender.
2. Blend the dried apricots, chopped carrots and 4 egg yolks in a blender. Add chopped nuts and 1 tsp of baking powder and mix well.
3. Beat the whites into a foam and mix with the dough.
4. Put everything in a wide mold and smooth it out.
5. Bake at 180 degrees (preheated stove, lower mode with convection for 15 minutes).
6. The finished dough can be cut as you like.
7. Mash the banana and peanuts in a blender and spread the cream over the cakes.
