Homemade sugar-free candies are a safe substitute for store-bought sweets. That's because they are based on dried fruits and nuts, and sometimes you can add oatmeal and dark chocolate. Their biggest advantage is that they don't need to be baked and you spend a minimum of time cooking them.

One of the culinary blogs (albik.food) on Tik-Tok published a recipe for healthy homemade sweets made from dates and cottage cheese. They do not need to be baked, and the whole process takes only 10 minutes.

Recipe for healthy homemade sweets without sugar and baking

Ingredients for 10 pieces

  • dates (pitted) – 70 g
  • cottage cheese – 120 g
  • sugar/honey – 30 g
  • zest of 1/2 orange
  • cocoa (for decoration)

Method of preparation:

1. Pour boiling water over the dates and leave for 2 minutes.

2. Then drain the dates and grind in a blender until smooth.

3. Mix the resulting mass with cottage cheese, sugar/honey, and zest. Stir until smooth.

4. Form balls from the resulting mass.
