Strudel with three fillings: a perfect pie to satisfy the whole family

Strudel is always delicious. And a strudel with three fillings at once, made from phyllo dough, has an unrivaled taste and aroma that will fill the whole house.

The recipe for this particular strudel was shared by food blogger Yulia Koretska. On Instagram, she presented the recipe for a wonderful strudel, adding fillings that harmonize with each other.

Ingredients for 2 strudels

  • phyllo dough - 10 sheets
  • 82.2% butter - 120 g

Ingredients for cottage cheese filling

  • cottage cheese - 300 g
  • sugar - 80 gr
  • egg - 1 pc
  • semolina - 1.5 tbsp

Ingredients for cherry filling

  • cherries without pits - 300 g
  • sugar - 100 g
  • corn starch - 25 g

Ingredients for poppy seed filling

  • dry ground poppy seeds - 150 g
  • sugar - 100 gr
  • semolina - 30 gr
  • egg - 1 pc

Method of preparation

1. First, prepare the fillings. The amount of filling in this recipe is intended for two strudels. Blend all the ingredients for the curd filling in a blender until smooth.

2. Defrost cherries, mix with the other ingredients and cook until thick.

3. Pour boiling water over the poppy seeds to the level of the poppy seeds in the pan. Cook until all the liquid has evaporated. Add semolina and sugar and mix thoroughly. When it has cooled completely, add egg and mix again.

4. Grease a sheet of phyllo dough with butter and cover with another sheet. Thus, use 5 sheets of dough for each strudel.

5. Place half of each filling at a distance from each other. Wrap the edges first, and then each filling in turn.

6. Brush the top of the strudel with melted butter. Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees until golden brown.
