Ingredients:

  • minced meat - 500 grams (pork and chicken)
  • boiled rice - 6 tbsp
  • onion - 2 pcs
  • carrots - 2 pcs
  • egg - 1 pc
  • garlic - 1-2 cloves
  • tomatoes in their own juice / tomato juice / tomato paste or sauce diluted with water 300-400 grams
  • salt, spices - to taste

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the rice. Finely chop the onions and carrots, grate the carrots and fry them a little in a drop of oil.

2. Combine rice, minced meat, half of the fried vegetables, egg, garlic clove and spices in a bowl.

3. Stir until smooth.

4. Form into balls and place on a frying pan.

5. Cover with the rest of the onions and carrots, pour in the tomatoes.

6. Simmer over medium heat, covered, for about 30 minutes.
