If you like really fluffy and tender dumplings, the following technology is for you. The dough is perfect because it contains yeast, not kefir. And it needs to be steamed.
The idea of steamed dumplings was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Valeria with the nickname valerikiry. Use cottage cheese for the filling.
Ingredients for the dough:
- milk - 250 ml
- yeast - 10 g
- salt - 0.5 tsp
- egg - 1 pc
- oil - 1 tbsp
- flour - 450 g
Ingredients for the filling:
- cottage cheese - 250 g
- egg - 1 pc
- sugar - 20 g
- vanilla sugar
Method of preparation:
1. Combine milk with sugar, oil, and yeast.
2. Add salt and mix.
3. Gradually add flour and knead soft elastic dough.
4. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
5. Make the filling, and combine all the ingredients.
6. Roll out the dough evenly, cut out circles, fill with the filling, and pinch the edges.
7. Put the pot with cheesecloth on the fire.
8. When the water boils, put the dumplings in, and cover with a deep bowl (cook for 5 minutes).
9. Grease the hot dumplings with butter and serve with sour cream.
