How to make "Napoleon" with ready-made dough: you will quickly cope
If you really like "Napoleon" but don't have time to knead the dough, you can buy ready-made puff pastry in the store. All you have to do is make the cream and grease the cakes with it. It turns out just as good as the original.
The idea of making the perfect Napoleon from ready-made puff pastry was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Olha Kobyk (oliakobyk). The cakes are perfectly soaked.
Ingredients:
- puff pastry
Ingredients for the cream:
- 2 eggs
- 180 g of sugar
- 10 g of vanilla sugar
- 55 g of flour
- 500 ml of milk
- 100 g of butter
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the dough into two equal parts and bake for 30 minutes at 190 degrees.
2. For the cream, mix eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar.
3. Add the flour and stir.
4. Gradually add milk.
5. Put on the fire and cook, stirring, until thickened.
6. When the cream is ready, add the butter and leave to cool slightly.
7. Grease the cakes with cream and sprinkle with dough crumbs.
