Recipe for lean pancakes with water and yeast
If you're fasting, you can make classic pancakes without eggs, milk, or kefir. You just need yeast and water. The important thing is that these pancakes are unusually airy, tall and soft. They can be eaten with berries, fruit, jam, condensed milk or honey.

Ingredients:
For 30-45 pieces, you need:
- live yeast - 25 g
- warm water - 500 ml
- flour - 540 g
- sugar - 2 tbsp.
- salt - 1 tsp.
- oil - 2 tbsp. + for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Stir the mixture. Leave in a warm place for 15-20 minutes.
2. Add salt and oil.
3. Sift flour and mix the batter until smooth. It should be like thick sour cream. Leave in a warm place for 1 hour.
4. Fry the pancakes.
