How to make juicy sardine patties: an alternative to meat

If you're tired of classic meatballs, you can still prepare them in a new way. And ordinary canned sardines will help you with this. Together with potatoes, it turns out to be a very tasty and savory dish.
Food blogger Yana Lazarenko (yanika.lazarenko) shared a recipe for juicy patties with sardines and potatoes on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- Canned sardines - 1 can
- Potatoes - 3 pieces
- Eggs - 2
- Flour - 2 tablespoons (for the dough) + 5 tablespoons (for the patties)
- Salt
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the potatoes with their skins on until tender. Let them cool, then peel and grate them finely.
2. Mash the sardines with a fork and mix them with the potatoes. Season with salt.
3. Add eggs and flour. Mix well.
4. Form patties by rolling them in flour.
5. Fry the cutlets over medium heat.
