How to cook young cabbage steaks: an easy snack idea

The season of young cabbage is in full swing. Right now, the vegetable is very juicy and crispy. In addition to salads and casseroles, this product can be used to make hearty steaks. You just need to cut the vegetable into wide slices, put the minced meat on top and bake it all in the oven.

Ingredients:
- young cabbage - 1 pc.
- minced chicken - 500 g
- egg - 1 pc.
- sour cream - 200 ml.
- hard cheese - 80 g
- salt, pepper, smoked paprika, Italian herbs
- dill, parsley
- garlic
- vegetable oil for frying
Method of preparation:
1. Cut cabbage into 2 cm thick slices.
2. Brush each with oil.
3. Add salt, pepper and smoked paprika.
4. Add finely chopped onion, salt, pepper, Italian herbs (or other favorite spices) and egg to the minced meat.
5. Mix well with your hands.
6. Form balls and place on cabbage steaks.
7. Combine sour cream, herbs, garlic, grated cheese, and salt in a bowl.
8. Brush each steak with sauce.
9. Bake in a preheated 180-degree oven for about 40-50 minutes.
