How to cook savory pumpkin porridge: with bulgur and cheese
Pumpkin porridge can be not only a healthy dessert, but also a complete first course. It will be delicious if you choose bulgur for the base and add a little cheese. When serving, don't forget the nuts.
The idea of making unsweetened pumpkin porridge was published on the Instagram page of a food blogger named treskablog. All the ingredients remain healthy.
Method of cooking salted pumpkin porridge:
1. Bake the pumpkin and mash the pulp.
2. Heat a little oil.
3. Add:
- 1 part fine bulgur
- 2 parts of water
- salt
4. Cook over medium heat, covered, for 5-7 minutes.
5. Add:
- 1 part pumpkin puree
- 0.5 parts of water (it depends on your pumpkin, because there are more watery ones)
- salt, if necessary
6. Cook again for 5-7 minutes.
7. Add 1 part of your favorite cheese at the end.
8. Stir, cover, remove from heat.
9. You can eat in 5 minutes, sprinkled with nuts.
