How to cook salty oatmeal on water in an unusual way: breakfast in 10 minutes

Although oatmeal is completely banal, but a very tasty, satisfying, and quick breakfast option that can be prepared in just 5 minutes and without any extra effort. And if you're already bored with the usual porridge with milk, fruit, and berries, you can make salty oatmeal. Add a poached egg and herbs to the dish and you'll get a hefty dose of nutrition and satiety.
Food blogger Anastasiia Solopii (solopiika) shared a recipe for salted oatmeal with a poached egg on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- oatmeal – 1 tbsp
- water – 2 tbsp
- butter – 30 g
- eggs – 3 pcs
- vinegar – 1 tbsp
- green onions
- salt, pepper
Method of preparation:
1. In boiling salted water pour the flakes. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
2. Add butter to the cooked flakes.
3. At the same time, put a small saucepan of water on the fire. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the vinegar.
5. Stir the water vigorously with a spoon to form a funnel, and pour in the egg. Cook for about 3 minutes. Boil the rest of the eggs in the same way.
6. Put the poached egg on the oatmeal. Sprinkle with chopped onion and pepper.
