Recipe for jerky for sandwiches
Jerky is a great way to significantly extend the shelf life of a product. Even a month after cooking, such meat can be eaten both on its own and with bread.
Food blogger Kateryna (katrin.ukrainets) shared her tips on how to make delicious chicken jerky on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- chicken fillet
- salt
- spices: oregano, dried garlic, paprika, chicken seasoning, hot paprika
Method of preparation:
1. Rinse the fillet, clean it from fat and dry it with a towel.
2. Pour salt into a bowl, put the fillet and cover with salt again. Put in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
3. Remove from the refrigerator, rinse from salt and soak for 2 hours in water every 30 minutes, changing the water every time.
4. Mix all the spices.
5. Dry the fillet with a towel, roll it in spices and hang it for 5-10 days in a damp, well-ventilated place.
