Low-salted salmon is a great addition to sandwiches, toasts, salads, and gourmet appetizers. Moreover, it is not difficult to salt it at home. You only need two main ingredients.

Food blogger and nutritionist Olha Usenko, nicknamed usenochka, shared the simplest recipe for low-salted salmon in 5 minutes on her Instagram page.

Recipe for low-salted salmon

Ingredients:

  • fish flesh with the skin - 500 g
  • sea salt - 1.5 tbsp
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.

Method of preparation:

1. First, mix sugar and salt. Rub the fish thoroughly with the resulting mass on all sides.

2. Put the fish in a container and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

3. After a day, remove the fish from the refrigerator and pour out the juice that has formed. Store the fish in the same way.

How to salt redfish

As the expert advises, you can divide the fish into portions and put some of it in the freezer. If necessary, you can defrost it in advance and it will be as fresh as fresh. In this form, it is convenient to add it to salads or eat it with sandwiches for breakfast.
