Homemade jam pie: the simplest pastry for tea

Jam pie is a very simple tea-time pastry made from budget ingredients that can be cooked in a multicooker, oven, or even in a frying pan. The batter is very soft, and the filling in the form of your favorite jam makes the cake very juicy and tender.
Food blogger Maryna (marisha_recepti) shared a recipe for a homemade pie with jam and milk on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- flour - 300 g
- sugar - 100 g
- eggs - 2 pcs
- milk - 100 ml
- baking powder - 10 g
- vanilla sugar - 8 g
- salt
- jam - 300 g
- nuts (for decoration) - 100 g
Method of preparation:
1. Mix eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Beat with a mixer until fluffy white mass.
2. Add oil and milk. Mix well.
3. Add flour and baking powder. Stir to avoid lumps.
4. Pour half of the batter into a parchment-lined baking dish. Bake at 170-180 degrees for 15 minutes.
5. Take the mold out of the oven, brush the cake with jam and pour the rest of the batter. Bake for another 30 minutes.
6. Spread the finished pie with jam and garnish with walnut crumbs.
