Healthy chocolates without baking: what is the peculiarity of the dessert
If you've been looking for an alternative to sweets with a high sugar content for a long time, then you should pay attention to healthy homemade sweets. To make them, you will need basic ingredients such as dried fruits and nuts. These sweets shouldn't be baked, so you will spend a minimum of time preparing them.
Food blogger Inna Levenets (inna_levenets) shared a recipe for healthy chocolates with dates on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- dates – 200 g
- cocoa powder – 50 g
- coconut flakes – 50 g
- dark chocolate – 100 g
- salt
Method of preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over the dates and let stand for 15 minutes.
2. Drain the dates, peel off the skin, and remove the seeds. Use a fork to mash the dried fruit.
3. Add salt, cocoa, and coconut to the dates. Stir and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
4. Form into balls.
5. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate.
6. Dip each ball into the chocolate, then roll in coconut.
7. Put the candies in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
