Cooking meat in French has long been a routine for many housewives. This dish is easy to prepare and does not take much time.

And today we offer to cook a new interpretation of this dish without using potatoes. A food blogger with the nickname simeynuyblog on Instagram told us how to cook French-style meat on an onion pillow.

Ingredients:

  • Tenderloin – 700 gr
  • Mushrooms – 400 gr
  • Cream – 100 ml
  • Onion – 1 pc
  • Mozzarella – 150 g
  • Processed cheese
  • Mustard
  • Spices to taste

How to cook:

1. Cut and pound the meat.

2. Add salt, black pepper, paprika and mustard. Rub the pieces of meat on both sides.

3. Peel the onions, cut them into halves, and place them in the bottom of the baking dish.

4. Cut the mushrooms into small pieces and fry them in a pan. In the end, add cream, melted cheese, and spices.

5. Put the meat on the onion and fried mushrooms with cream on top.

6. Cover the mold with parchment and then foil and set aside to bake for 35-40 minutes at 200 degrees.

7. At the end of cooking, remove the parchment and foil, sprinkle the dish with grated cheese, and put it back in the oven until the cheese is toasted.
