If you don't have time to bake a traditional Medovik, you can make a simple cake in a skillet. It will take no more than 2 minutes to fry each cake. Then you just need to spread the cream over it.

The idea of making an elementary frying pan cake was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yana Bardych (yana_bardych). The dough is very tender, because it is based on condensed milk.

5. Then pour all this egg-milk mass to the rest of the milk (into the pan in which we will cook the cream).

6. Put on the fire and wait for it to boil, then cook for just a minute and turn it off.

7. Pour the cream into a bowl so that it cools down quickly.

8. At this stage, add the butter and vanilla sugar, mix everything well.

9. Cover the cream with cling film "in contact".

10. Leave to cool to room temperature.

11. For the dough, pour the condensed milk into a bowl, add a pinch of salt, egg, vegetable oil and mix everything thoroughly.

12. In a separate bowl, mix the sifted flour and baking powder.

13. Then add the flour to the egg mixture and mix again.

14. Put the dough on a work surface and start kneading it with your hands. The dough should be quite soft (it may be a little sticky due to the condensed milk, so sprinkle the surface with additional flour).

15. Divide the dough into 7 equal parts, roll out each of them, rather thinly and cut off the uneven edges.

16. Fry the cakes for 2 minutes on each side over low heat.

17. Grease the bottom of the plate with a little cream, put the cake, cream again, and so on.

18. Sprinkle cocoa on top.
