Food blogger Maryna Novikova (marisha_recepti) shared a recipe for healthy cheese rings with sesame seeds on her Instagram page.

Recipe for healthy cheese rings with sesame seeds

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 2 pcs
  • cottage cheese – 250 g
  • cottage cheese – 180 g
  • sugar – 1 tbsp
  • salt – 1 tsp.
  • baking powder – 1 tbsp
  • vegetable oil – 50 ml
  • milk – 50 ml
  • flour – 240 g
  • sesame seeds

Method of preparation:

1. Start preparing the dough by whisking the eggs with salt and sugar.

2. Add milk and vegetable oil. Mix well.

3. Add cottage cheese. Mash well with a fork.

4. Add grated cheese. Mix well.

5. Add flour and baking powder. Knead the dough.

6. Roll out the dough and cut out circles. Make holes in the middle of each circle.

7. Brush the rings with egg yolk and dip well in sesame seeds. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment.

8. Bake at 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
