Chickpeas with mushrooms: an easy-to-prepare dish for Lent

As Lent continues, we offer you a very simple but nutritious and tasty dish made from chickpeas and mushrooms.

The recipe was shared by a food blogger with the nickname kristina_buleziuk. On Instagram, she described in detail what products are needed for this dish.

Ingredients

  • Boiled chickpeas - 400 gr
  • Mushrooms - 100 gr
  • Carrots - 1 pc
  • Onion - 1 pc
  • Flour - 1 tbsp
  • Tomato paste - 1 tbsp
  • Bell pepper - 1 pc
  • Dill and herbs

Method of preparation

1.Fry onion until golden brown, add grated carrots and chopped mushrooms.

2. Add salt, pepper and flour. Fry for 2 minutes. Add water.

3. When the vegetables are soft, add tomato paste, bell pepper and boiled or canned chickpeas.

4. Add chopped herbs and green onions, stir, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
