Canned tomatoes with a secret: pleasant sweet-sour flavor

These vegetables can be prepared in a variety of ways. Most recipes call for fresh tomatoes to be put in a jar. But they can also be fried. The taste will really surprise you.
The idea of cooking fried canned tomatoes was published on the Instagram page of food bloggerAlina Bakaleiko(linaarsenjuk). The vegetables have a pleasant sweet and sour taste and are very juicy.
Ingredients for the marinade for a 2 liter jar:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup of sugar
- 100 g of vinegar
- 1.5 tbsp. salt
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the tomatoes.
2. Fry in vegetable oil for a few minutes until the skin is soft but still intact.
3. Put on a sieve to drain the oil.
4. Mix and boil everything for the marinade.
5. Put peppercorns, bay leaf, 3-4 cloves of garlic, and tomatoes on the bottom of the jar.
6. Pour hot marinade over the top.
7. Sterilize for 7 minutes.
