"Broken Glass" cake with sour cream in 20 minutes: no need to bake
The simplest cake that doesn't require baking is "Broken Glass." According to the classic recipe, it is based on multi-colored jelly and sour cream; less often, the dessert is made with sponge cake, crackers, or cookies, adding various fruits.
Food blogger Olha Bilyk (smakolyky_vid_oli) shared a recipe for the "Broken Glass" cake with sour cream on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- sour cream – 800 g
- jelly of different flavors – 3 p
- gelatin – 25 g
- sugar
- vanilla
Method of preparation:
1. Prepare each jelly separately as indicated on the package, pour into square molds, and refrigerate until completely set.
2. When the jelly has completely hardened, cut it into squares.
3. Pour 1 glass of water over the gelatin and leave to swell completely.
4. Whip the sour cream with sugar.
5. Melt the swollen gelatin slightly, add to the sour cream, and beat with a mixer.
6. Add the jelly to the resulting mass, mix, and pour into molds or one solid one. Leave in the refrigerator to harden.
