Beetroot taratouille: how to make a simple and unusual appetizer
One of the most delicious, healthy, and easy-to-cook vegetables is beetroot. It can be used to make healthy salads, snacks, soups, and delicious borscht. Beets can also be added to canned foods, giving them a very pleasant aroma and flavor.
Chef Anatolii Dobrovolskyi shared a recipe for a delicious beet appetizer with onions, horseradish, and cucumber on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Boiled beets – 450 g
- Pickled cucumbers –100-150 g
- Red or white onion – 1 pc.
- Grated white horseradish – 1 tbsp.
- Beetroot sourdough, pickle brine
- Oil – 1 tbsp.
Method of preparation:
1. Boil or bake the beets, peel, and cut into slices.
2. Grate the horseradish. Dice the onion.
4. Cut the cucumbers into large cubes.
5. Put the beets, cucumbers, onions, and horseradish in a bowl and mix.
6. Put in a jar, add oil, brine, beetroot sourdough, and refrigerate for a day.
