An elementary apple pie that does not require rolling out the dough: what do you need
To make this pie, you don't have to knead the dough. All you need to do is buy ready-made phyllo dough. It goes well with any filling, especially apples.
The idea of making a basic apple pie from phyllo dough was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Inna Kalancha (inna_kalancha). The top is very crispy.
Ingredients:
- phyllo dough – (7-8 sheets)
- cream – 250 ml (30%)
- eggs – 2 pcs
- sugar – 4 tsp (adjust to taste)
- apples – 100 g
- vanilla sugar – 10 g
- butter for greasing the dough and mold
Method of preparation:
1. Remove the dough from the packet in advance and leave it at room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
2. Melt the butter to a liquid state and grease all the dough sheets.
3. Gather all the layers of dough into an accordion and put them into a mold greased with butter.
4. For the filling, mix the eggs with sugar, vanilla sugar and cream.
5. Stir until smooth.
6. Bake at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
7. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
