A hearty two-ingredient salad for a light lunch or dinner: what to cook with
Even with a minimal set of products, it is quite possible to make a delicious and satisfying salad that requires only two main ingredients: apples and cabbage. This salad takes just minutes to prepare and is perfect for a light lunch or dinner.
The recipe for the cabbage and apple salad was shared by food blogger Anastasiia Solopii (solopiika) on her Instagram page.
Ingredients:
- kohlrabi cabbage – 1 pc.
- apples – 3 pcs.
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- olive oil – 1-2 tbsp
- black pepper – to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Peel the cabbage and cut into strips.
2. Peel and cut the apples into strips.
3. Combine cabbage and apples, and mix well. Squeeze in the lemon juice.
4. Season with olive oil and sprinkle with pepper.
