Ingredients for 14 0.5 liter jars:
- eggplants - 3-4 kg
- bell pepper - 1 kg
- chicken fillet - 1 kg
- onions - 0.5 kg
- tomato sauce - 0.5 liters
- vegetable oil - 0.5 liters
- a head of garlic
- vinegar - 150 g
- sugar - 150 g
- salt, pepper, spices - to taste
Method of preparation:
1. Boil the chicken until half cooked and cut into strips or cubes.
2. Cut the eggplant and pepper into strips. Peel the eggplant, salt it and leave it to drain, then drain it.
3. Cut the onion into half rings.
4. Stew the eggplant, pepper and onion in oil for 10 minutes. If the vegetables have not released enough juice, you can add 150-200 g of water.
5. Add tomato sauce, vinegar, sugar, spices.
6. Squeeze the garlic, stir and simmer for an hour, stirring occasionally.
7. Put in jars and sterilize for 20-25 minutes.
