Volodymyr Zavadiuk, the producer of the National Selection for Eurovision 2024, has responded to rumors about the candidates for the chance to represent Ukraine at the international song contest in Switzerland. Although the candidacy of some artists is only a rumor, netizens are actively discussing the stars they would like to see among the participants.

In particular, the discussions around the country's most mysterious singer Klavdia Petrivna are not dying down. "It's cool, I think this is Klavdia Petrivna's next step, it's a great step," Zavadiuk commented in an interview with journalist Oksana Kuchma for LuxFM.

In addition, Ukrainian singer SoloHa has already applied for the National Selection 2025. Even though the artist's work is not close to the producer, he supports all performers. "I am fine with different Ukrainian artists. There are things I like and things I don't like. SoloHa's music is not my music, but it has an audience, and this audience probably loves it," he says.

Zavadiuk also noted that we should be proud of Ukrainian musicians, not "hate" them. "Either criticize reasonably, if you are a music critic, or keep silent," the expert added.
