Why housewives fry soap in a pan: an interesting life hack
Cleaning a frying pan is not an easy task. You can't wash away all the grease from cast iron, and you can't rub the non-stick coating too hard. That's why life hacks come to the rescue. For example, a very unusual method with laundry soap, which needs to be fried in a dirty pan.
OBOZREVATEL figured out how to clean a frying pan with laundry soap. Moreover, even the outside of the pan can be cleaned with this product.
Cleaning the frying pan from the inside
Take a bar of laundry soap and rub a small portion on a fine grater. Sprinkle the soap shavings into the pan and add a little water so that the liquid barely covers the soap.
Put the pan with the soap on a small fire for about 10 minutes and wait until the detergent dissolves under the influence of temperature. Then turn off the heat and let the liquid cool down. During this time, the soap will have worked and the carbon deposits can be easily wiped off with a soft sponge.
Cleaning the outside of the pan
Dissolve the soap shavings in a very small amount of warm water to form a paste. Slake a few tablespoons of baking soda with vinegar and add the slaked baking soda to this paste. The product is ready. Apply it to the outside of the pan and leave it on for 15 minutes. Then scrub the pan with a brush or the hard side of a sponge and rinse with water. The procedure can be repeated if necessary.
