Vera Brezhneva hinted that she considers her divorce from Meladze a mistake: but I'm not offended and have no complaints against anyone

In a new interview, Ukrainian singer Vera Brezhneva advised women who have faced adversity in their lives and shared how she has experienced her own "mistakes." The star spoke about this in the context of divorce and other personal problems.

According to the artist, it took her a year and a half to recover from one of them. It was probably about her divorce from composer Konstantin Meladze, which the celebrity spoke about a year after the breakup. The interview with the Ukrainian appeared on Dinara Satzhan's YouTube channel.

"I have had difficult periods in my life, simply because I am a woman, I am a human being. I come home in the same way, I have my peculiarities, my nuances of life, men who behave in a certain way, I behave in a certain way," the singer approached the topic cautiously.

She advised women not to stay in the role of a "victim" but to give themselves time to grieve, cry, discuss the problem with their loved ones, and gain strength.

"Of course, there are situations after which it took me a year and a half to get myself back in order. I mean, it took me a full cycle: from understanding to getting out of this state, to a full-fledged feeling that I am in a resource," Vera Brezhneva continued, probably alluding to her divorce.

She admitted that she did not broadcast her feelings to the public, but she had a hard time enduring this difficult time. In the end, the artist reconciled herself to her "mistake" and let go of all her grievances.

"I choose a different path. I choose to move forward. Yes, it was my mistake, my lesson. The most important thing is to be grateful for this lesson because very often we keep resentment. We need to thank the past. Everything that happened was my maturation, my development, my growth," the singer summarized.

She added that she has no complaints against anyone, as she has let go of all the negative and feels grateful for the journey she has taken. It is noteworthy that the star recently addressed her ex-husband from the stage in Baku with these words.

"Now, of course, I want to say a huge thank you to the author of most of these songs, who has been creating these hits for many years. This is Konstantin Meladze. Without him, there would be no these songs, and we would not have these amazing memories, we would not have these emotions," the artist said publicly.
