Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, retired General Valeriy Zaluzhny sent a heartfelt birthday greeting to his wife Olena that took the web by storm. The couple has been married for more than 20 years, but despite this respectable figure, they still cherish romance.

On Facebook, Valeriy Zaluzhny, who became Ukraine's ambassador to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland in May 2024, noted that he has many photos with his beloved wife, but she hardly ever appears in the frame.

"Looking through our family photos, I realized a very important thing. You don't have any photos of yourself at all, very few where I took you. There are only a few pictures where you look completely different. Only a million photos of us together. And that's how it is. It's hard to imagine how my life would have been without you, and how hard it was for you to always be there. I love you so much. Thank you for everything. Happy birthday," Valeriy Zaluzhny congratulated his wife.

He attached a photo of the couple posing in front of Big Ben and the London Eye on the banks of the River Thames in London. The couple looks happy, and the photo itself was probably taken after Valeriy Zaluzhny started his work as ambassador.

In three hours after the photo was posted, it received over 22 thousand likes.

Within an hour of its publication, the photo garnered more than 16 thousand likes, and within three hours - more than 22 thousand. There are already more than 250 comments under the post, most of them with congratulations and sincere wishes.
