For the first time after completing chemotherapy, a representative of the British royal family, Kate Middleton, came out to her citizens. The Princess of Wales, accompanied by her husband, Prince William, visited Southport to support the citizens after a tragic knife attack on children from a summer club.
According to Harper's Bazaar, Kensington Palace said that Their Highnesses wanted to support the locals after the July 29 incident. They wanted to see firsthand how the residents of the community have come together to rebuild the city.
During her first public appearance after completing chemotherapy, Kate Middleton met with firefighters, ambulance workers, and police officers from Southport. Representatives of Kensington Palace talked to people to find out how they survived the tragic event. In addition, the Prince and Princess of Wales personally visited families who lost children in the attack.
