Famous Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie, who openly supports Ukraine in its war against the occupiers, has met with Russian actor Yuri Borisov. The Russian, who previously did not shy away from taking on controversial roles in propaganda movies, arrived in Canada to present a comedy drama by American director Sean Baker called "Anora."

In the movie, the actor played the character "Igor". Jolie, who presented at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIIF) new movie "Maria", "caught" next to a citizen of the Russian Federation. According to the photo published in social networks, the interlocutors talked about something and smiled at each other.

In addition to Borisov, several other Russians - 22-year-old Mark Eidelstein, 40-year-old Daria Ekamasova, and 60-year-old Alexei Serebryakov - took part in the filming of the movie Anora. The plot unfolds in Berlin and tells about the life of a 25-year-old stripper and sex worker of Uzbek origin, whose full name is Anora (played by Mikey Madison).

The main character calls herself Ani. In the club where the girl works, she accidentally meets a major Russian Ivan Zakharov. A conversation ensues between them, since, thanks to her grandmother from the USSR, Anora knows Russian.
