Oleksandr Kubrakov is the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine.

Brief biography

Oleksandr Kubrakov was born on August 20, 1982 in Pershotravensk, Dnipropetrovsk region.

He received his higher education at the Kiev Economic University, specializing in marketing. Graduated from a short-term program at Harvard Kennedy School.

He worked as the head of "City for People Kiev" LLC, advisor to the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko in the field of IT, executive director of the "Association "Information Technologies of Ukraine".

Since November 2019, he became the Chairman of Ukravtodor.

Politics

In 2019, he was elected to the Verkhovna Rada on the list of the party "Servant of the People".

He was a member of the Verkhovna Rada committee on human rights, de-occupation and reintegration of temporarily occupied territories in Donetsk, Lugansk regions and Crimea, Sevastopol, national minorities and interethnic relations.

On December 3, 2019, he terminated the powers of the people's Deputy.

Appointment as Minister of Infrastructure

After the dismissal from the post of Minister Vladyslav Krykliya, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal introduced the candidacy of Kubrakov to Parliament.

On May 20, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada supported the appointment of Kubrakov as Minister. "For" voted 284 people's deputies.
