Andriy Sadovyy
Andriy Sadovyyy is a Ukrainian politician and businessman, leader of the Samopomich party and mayor of Lviv.
Brief biography
Andriy Sadovyy was born in Lviv on August 19th 1968.
He studied in two universities: the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" from which he graduated in 1995; the Faculty of Law at the same "Lviv Polytechnic" from which he graduated in 1997; Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine from which he graduated in 1999.
Since 1998 till 2002 Andriy Sadovyy has been a deputy of Lviv city council where he was a head of economical policy committee.
In 2004 Andriy Sadovyy createdSamopomich public association. He was also the head of this NGO.
In 2006 Andriy Sadovyy launched the TV-channel "24". In the same year Andriy Sadovyy became the city mayor of Lviv.
In 2012 Andriy Sadovyy registered the political party "Samopomich", which he also headed.
Sadovy's party "Samopomich" took part in the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada, which took place in 2014, shortly after the Revolution of Dignity. The party won about 11 percent of the total number of voters and entered the parliament.
In the fall of 2018, Sadovy officially announced that he would run for president in Ukraine's 2019 presidential elections.
In September, Ukrainian presidential candidate and leader of the Civic Position party Anatoliy Hrytsenko called on Sadovyy to unite. The politician stressed that he and Sadovyy have common interests and values, as well as a vision for the further development of Ukraine.
Early elections to the Rada 2019
Andrei Sadovoy's party "Samopomich" plans to take part in the early elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, which will be held on July 21, 2019.
Personal life
The politician is married. The wife of Andrei Sadovoy - Kateryna Kot-Sadovaya. The married couple brings up three children: Ivan, Tadey and Mikhail.

Restore faith in Ukraine. The key elements of the campaign are the mobilization of young people, the breaking of the corrupt circle in politics and the technological modernization of the country.
The main task of the presidency is the fight against corruption. The tools: the new prosecutor general, full support of the NABU and the SAP, confiscation of illegal property, and digitalization.
Ukraine has all the possibilities, has enough gas and oil to be energy independent. There should only be the political will to produce it independently, to increase our capacities.
It is necessary to raise the living wage for able-bodied people to the level of its actual size, which will be made public by the government.
It is necessary to establish interaction and permanent cooperation with NATO in order to obtain membership later.
It is necessary to strengthen cooperation with the EU and initiate the creation of a Central-Eastern European military alliance.
