Alyona Savranenko (stage name - Alyona Alyona ) is a Ukrainian rapper and songwriter.

Brief biography

Alyona Savranenko was born on June 14, 1991 in the town of Kapitanovka, Kirovograd region.

At the age of 15 she started earning money working as a market saleswoman, a cashier, a collector and even a cleaner.

She has two higher educations: psychologist and educator.

She worked as a kindergarten teacher in the village of Baryshevka in Kyiv region. She was also head of a kindergarten in the village of Dernivka near Kiev. After four years of working in kindergartens, she began her musical career.

At first she wrote songs under the pseudonym Alena Al.kaida.

Since 2018 began to perform under the pseudonym Alyona Alyona and released her first music video "Fishies". Already the next video for the song "Golovi" in a month gained a million views on Youtube.

In April 2019, she released her debut album "Cannon."

Meanwhile, Alyona Alyona hit the world media strips: for example, the publication Vogue named her the most unexpected rap star.

In August of the same year she performed outside of Ukraine for the first time, becoming a participant of the Sziget international festival in Budapest.

Alyona Alyona is the author of the lyrics to the song "Vilna", which is the soundtrack to the Ukrainian film "Vyddana". The song is performed by Tina Karol and Yulia Sanina from the band The Hardkiss.

In 2020 it became known that Alena signed a contract with the Polish recording company Def Jam Polska.

In the same year 2020 it was announced the launch of the rapper's own music label called ENKO. In addition to Alyona Alyona herself, the label will also release the Ukrainian band Kalush.

In the fall of 2020, Alyona became a member of the show "Dancing with the Stars" on the TV channel "1+1". She danced in a pair with the dancer Yuri Gurich.

In January 2021 she won the Public Choice Award from Music Moves Europe Talent.

Scandals

In 2021, she was caught in a scandal after she posted a photo of herself posing naked, covering herself with the flag of Ukraine. After the criticism on the social networks the photo was deleted.

In July of the same year, she hit a barrage of criticism after she recorded a song with the Russian band Kasta and Ivan Dorn.

Another scandal erupted in August of that year when Alyona Alyona together with the company RedBull UA recorded a commercial on Sofievskaya Square in Kiev during which the car was drifting on the pedestrian area. It turned out that the shooting was done without permission from the authorities of the capital city. As a result of the filming, the paving stones on the square were contaminated, which were washed from traces of rubber throughout the day.
