Occupants attacked Odesa with Shaheds: houses were damaged, nine people were injured. Photos and videos

On the night of Tuesday, April 23, Russian occupation forces attacked Odesa with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. The enemy attack damaged residential buildings and injured nine civilians.

Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov reported on the consequences of the enemy shelling on his Telegram channel. The alert in Odesa region lasted from 01:33 to 03:07. The Air Force warned of a UAV attack from the south.

The Southern Defense Forces clarified that last night Russian terrorist forces once again sent several waves of attack UAVs to the southern regions. The enemy targeted the industrial and port infrastructure of the region.

Defenders destroyed seven dronesover Odesa region. At the same time, the fall of one of the downed Shaheds caused destruction to the residential sector, damaging shops and other infrastructure.

According to Trukhanov, at least 14 apartments in residential buildings were damaged in Peresypsky district of Odesa.

As of 08:00, nine people were reported injured , including four children. Thirty-four people were rescued at the site of the destruction.

Employees of the State Emergency Service, the Municipal Guard and other emergency services helped rescue people.

"Peresypsky District Administration is deploying an operational headquarters on the spot to resettle and provide assistance to the affected Odessans," the mayor said.

Under the procedural supervision of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated in criminal proceedings over violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the injured residents of the city include a boy and a girl aged five and nine months, as well as two boys aged nine and 12. The children and three adult victims were taken to hospital with injuries of varying severity.

A two-story residential building, commercial facilities and cars were damaged in the city. Windowpanes in residential houses and buildings adjacent to the places where the drone debris fell were smashed.

"The review is ongoing, prosecutors, in cooperation with other law enforcement agencies, are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian Armed Forces," the prosecutor's office said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Russian occupation forces struck Kharkiv once again on Monday, April 22. The invaders hit a television infrastructure facility, causing signal interruptions.
