Kirillov speaks about the rematch between Usyk and Fury

Former world lightweight champion Dmitry Kirillov expressed an absurd opinion that promoters are preparing three fights between Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). The Russian called it a strategy of organizers interested in making as much money as possible.

Kirillov said this in an interview with Fight.ru. According to the ex-boxer, Fury is to be specially given the victory in the rematch with the Ukrainian scheduled for December 21. At the same time, the Russian representative added that he expects Usyk to win the second fight if there are no conspiracies around the fight.

"In general, the strategy of this fight seems to me to be a trilogy. Maybe there will be a victory for Fury and then a third fight. It may or may not be organized on purpose. There is a lot of money around this fight. If there are no pitfalls, I think Usyk will beat him again because he has already picked up the levers and Fury will not be able to counteract him even in maximum readiness," Kirillov said.

As a reminder, Usyk beat Fury on May 18 by split decision and became the absolute world heavyweight champion. Two months later, the Ukrainian lost his status after refusing to give up the belt to the International Boxing Federation (IBF).

It became known that the IBF left our champion no choice. This situation angered the head of the Absolute Fighting Championship (IBF), Dana White.

Fury recently appealed the result of his fight against Usyk on May 18. Before that, Tyson first named the reason for his defeat in the fight with Oleksandr. In addition, the Briton got into a drunken scandal, which alarmed his camp.

Ukrainian Oleksandr also announced his radical plan to continue his career after the rematch with Tyson. Usyk named the most difficult moment of the fight with the Briton. Our boxer also spoke frankly about his opponent.
