Russian President Vladimir Putin made a high-profile visit to the Rogachev Center for Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Immunology in Moscow. He interacted with the children on camera, gave them gifts, and even knelt for a joint photo, which amused internet users.

Footage of the visit was published by Russian media. It is worth noting that the Kremlin leader presented gifts to the young patients in the medical center, including toys. After a heartwarming conversation, he knelt down for a photo (to view the video, scroll to the end of the video).

Interestingly, one of the girls initially hid under the covers upon hearing about Putin's visit. However, when he entered the ward, she acted as if she weren't embarrassed.

He gifted one patient a toy helicopter and the other girls received dolls.

The internet ridiculed the staged performance by the Kremlin leader.
