The prohibition to eat with a knife is one of the most common superstitions. We are taught from an early age that this makes a person evil. But is there any explanation for why you can't eat with a knife?

The fact is that such use of a sharp object can lead to injury to the tongue. Especially in children who are not yet very skilled in small movements and can be inattentive. And a wound in the mouth does not add to a good mood.
Eating with a knife is also associated with jealousy. They say that a person who does this can become jealous. This can be explained by the fact that a kitchen knife is often used in domestic murders. Therefore, it is better not to pick it up once again and not to use it for other purposes.
Eating with a knife portends particular troubles for women. There is a belief that the husband of a woman who does this can turn into a drunkard or a traitor. There is no rational explanation for this superstition. Unless it can be called an additional argument in favor of the fact that it is not customary to use a knife in this way.
From the esoteric point of view, using a knife to eat food can harm a person's aura. Here, this is explained by the ability of the object to accumulate negative energy, which a person so literally puts inside his or her body.
