The Ukrainian defenders told about a touching case when a child handed them a handmade envelope containing money and a note of gratitude. The boy wrote: "If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be here anymore."
The 126th separate brigade of the Odesa territorial defense reported on the schoolboy's good deed. On Tuesday, December 13, the soldiers' Facebook page posted a photo of the gift made by the young patriot.
"A little boy brought a mysterious handmade envelope to the soldiers' positions and went home. When we later opened the message, our soldiers were very touched," the brigade admitted.
On a small sheet of paper, the child wrote: "Thank you very much! May you come home soon! The Armed Forces will win! If you weren't there, we would not be here. Thank you very, very much."
The Odesa soldiers of the TRO promised that they would find the author of the note and thank him.
