OBOZ.UA has found tips to help you avoid this. It is important to choose high-quality sportswear so that the body can "breathe".

Washing sportswear depends on the material and contamination. For example, things made of natural fabrics can be cleaned less frequently because they do not absorb sweat as well as synthetic clothing. After training, smell your clothes. If you smell a pungent aroma, then of course they need to be washed.

White vinegar

This is a natural ingredient that will quickly cope with a pungent odor. Add 250 milliliters of vinegar to two liters of water and mix everything thoroughly. Leave the clothes in the solution for an hour and then wash them as usual.

If you don't have time to soak, add 250 milliliters of vinegar to the drum of your washing machine and turn on the appropriate cycle.

Avoid using fabric softener as it has a negative effect on the material and you will sweat even more because air does not get inside.

It is better to dry sportswear in the fresh air, not in a dryer. This will help keep it in shape.

Soda

Shoes also need special care after training. If you smell an unpleasant odor, pour a little baking soda inside and leave your sneakers overnight. Baking soda is a natural odor neutralizer that will quickly cope with the problem.

For more effect, you can put the shoes in a plastic bag and put them in the freezer overnight. The low temperature will kill the bacteria that create the odor.
