Jess, the owner of the TikTok channel "Home, Cleaning and Hacks," shared her simple way to make the cleaning process easier.
- Step 1. Pour one and a half cups of water into a baking dish and put a few sliced lemons in it.
- Step 2. Next, put the water and lemon in a preheated oven (220 °C) and let it cool slightly.
- Step 3. After that, remove the lemons, soak a cloth in lemon water and wipe the walls, racks, and oven door.
The expert emphasized that her lemon water cleaning method is a kind of surface treatment. The life hack will help to get rid of unpleasant odors and wash away light dirt. This cleaning method is not suitable for removing burnt food and grease.
For the most difficult dirt, use dishwasher tablets lifehack. First, the preparatory stage: cut a hole in a new sponge and place a tablet in it. Lightly moistened with water, put the sponge with the tablet inside the oven and wipe all surfaces. Then you should remove the glass from the door and wipe it, as well as other surfaces of the oven, with a paper towel or microfiber cloth dipped in water to remove the remaining chemicals.
