How to whiten yellowed tulle: a life hack with guaranteed results

Snow-white tulle decorates the kitchen, makes it bright and cozy, but over time, dirt and grease lead to yellowing and the formation of stains that are difficult to remove. Normal washing in a machine does not always completely remove dirt.

But OBOZ.UA has found an effective life hack that will help to cope with this. You need to make a special solution from affordable and simple ingredients.

Laundry soap and soda ash

Laundry soap is an indispensable tool for cleaning and laundry that can quickly cope with even the most stubborn dirt. Soda ash is also a popular product that is often used in households and industries.

Choose a bowl or other container that will hold the tulle. Take two liters of warm water, add 100 ml of laundry soap and three tablespoons of soda. Mix everything thoroughly, soak the tulle in the solution, and add another 5 liters of warm water. Leave it for 5-8 hours.

Then rinse the fabric thoroughly under running water to get rid of soap marks. For an effective result, wash the tulle in a washing machine with the appropriate mode.

Pre-soaking will remove grease stains and return the snow-white color to the fabric.
