How to wash narrow dishes: three effective methods

Tall and narrow dishes look extremely elegant and sophisticated. But few people risk filling their cupboards with them, because they have a serious drawback: such containers are difficult to clean inside. Therefore, sediment can accumulate at the bottom of a wine decanter, and glasses can become covered with an ugly coating.

Ammonia

This product cleans ceramic and glass surfaces well. To use its power, you need to soak the dishes in an ammonia solution. Prepare the mixture based on the ratio of 1 tablespoon of alcohol per liter of water. After diluting the required amount of the product, you need to completely immerse the glasses or cups in it and let them soak for 30 minutes. After soaking, rinse all the dishes thoroughly under running water.

Rice

Polished rice can act as an effective abrasive without scratching the surface of the dishes. To use them to clean narrow containers, you need to pour a little warm water inside and add a small amount of rice and a tablespoon of baking soda. After that, the vessel should be shaken properly so that the baking soda and rice can remove the plaque. Finally, rinse the container.

Vinegar and salt

Coarse salt is another abrasive that can be used to clean narrow dishes. It can be combined with white vinegar, which has a cleansing and degreasing effect. Pour a little salt into the bottom of the dish and fill it with vinegar. Stir the contents vigorously long enough for the salt to clean the walls and bottom, and leave it to act for 10-15 minutes. Afterwards, rinse everything well to wash away the smell of vinegar and remove the remaining salt.
