How to remove traces of deodorant

Most people often face the problem of deodorant stains on their clothes that are difficult to remove. Repeated washing can only worsen the condition of the fabric, not remove unwanted stains.

Detergents do not always help to cope with this problem. Therefore, OBOZREVATEL has found effective ways to remove dirt effectively.

You can remove traces of deodorant using natural ingredients. But before using them, you need to check their effect on an inconspicuous area of clothing.

Salt

Salt can be used for both white and colored clothes. The mixture will effectively cope even with old stains. To do this, wet the necessary places on the fabric and sprinkle them with salt.

Leave it for at least 12 hours, preferably overnight. Then wet the clothes again and rub the salt lightly on the fabric. Then wash the clothes by hand or using a washing machine.

Vinegar

Despite its pungent odor, vinegar is an indispensable tool not only for cleaning but also for removing stubborn stains on clothes. Apply a little solution to the dirty areas and leave it overnight. Wash your clothes in the morning.

This method will help save colored clothes and clothes made of natural fabrics. However, white clothes should not be treated with vinegar as they can turn yellow.

Lemon juice

If the deodorant marks are fresh, lemon juice will quickly remove them. Apply a few drops of juice to the stains and leave for 5-10 minutes. Then wash the item by hand in warm water.

Dishwashing detergent

This product can remove not only grease stains but also deodorant stains. Apply the solution to the stains and soak in warm water. Leave on for 30 minutes and rinse under running water.

Alcohol

This method is suitable for dark clothes. Soak the stains with alcohol and wait a few minutes. The effect should be noticeable immediately. If the stain does not disappear, wait a little longer, but not more than an hour. Then wash the items in a washing machine.

Ammonia

Mix alcohol and water in a one-to-one ratio and soak the stained areas on the clothes. Wait 5 minutes and wash the clothes.

Hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and dishwashing detergent

This solution will help get rid of stains and odors. Mix four tablespoons of hydrogen peroxide, one teaspoon of dish detergent, and two tablespoons of baking soda. Treat the stains with the mixture and leave for 2-3 hours. Then wash the item as usual.
