How to quickly whiten seams beetween tiles in the bathroom: three best ways
The bathroom seams between tiles seem like an unimportant detail of the interior until they start to turn yellow or gray. This greatly spoils the look of the renovation and makes you want to return the seams to their original snow-white appearance.
The good news is that it is possible to do this and it does not require applying a new layer of grout or using aggressive or difficult-to-use chemicals. OBOZ.UA has collected some simple home recipes for caring for the seams.
Soda and vinegar
This combination of products can clean almost everything in the house. And tile joints are no exception. Mix baking soda with a little water to form a paste and apply it to the grout, making sure it covers the grouting well. Then sprinkle or gently pour a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). The substances will instantly react and begin to foam, pushing dirt out even from the deepest pores of the material. All that remains is to gently rub the seams with a soft brush and rinse them with water after the reaction is complete.
Lemon juice
Fresh lemon juice has a delicate whitening effect. Squeeze it directly onto the seams and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Then brush and rinse the treated areas.
Hydrogen peroxide
To clean the stitches, you need to take peroxide in a pharmacy concentration. Even then, it will have to be diluted in equal proportions with water. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle and spray the seams well. It should work for 15-20 minutes, after which it can be simply wiped off with a cloth or a paper towel.
