How to quickly update wallpapers at home: a kitchen product will help
If stains appear on the wallpaper, and repair is not yet part of your plans, you can save the situation with improvised means. One affordable ingredient will get rid of grease, fingerprints, and other dirt.

Required ingredients:
- Baking soda
- Water
Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one teaspoon of water in a container. Apply the mixture to a clean sponge or cloth and gently wipe the stained area of the wallpaper. The product needs time to work. Set the timer for five to ten minutes, depending on how bad the stain is, and then gently remove the mixture with a clean cloth or sponge.
You can also prepare a more diluted mixture. To make a cleaning solution, mix two tablespoons of baking soda with five liters of water. Dip a clean cloth in the mixture and then gently wipe the wallpaper. Important: Do not soak the cloth completely, as this can cause moisture to damage the wallpaper surface.
To remove particularly stubborn dirt, repeat the procedure several times, but do not rub the wallpaper too hard. And most importantly, test the product on an inconspicuous area first.
By the way, paper, non-woven, and vinyl wallpapers are sensitive to water and cleaning agents, so you should be very careful when treating them for stains.
