How to quickly clean a toilet bowl

Even regular and high-quality plumbing care will not save you from limescale. The reason is very simple: hard water contains a lot of calcium and magnesium salts.

Most of all, it is the toilet that "suffers" from plaque. If the lime is not washed in the initial stages, it can turn into thick growths. OBOZREVATEL figured out what a cheap and effective way to remove plaque.

Just one ingredient, which is found in every kitchen, will clean surfaces from limescale. You can not spend money on expensive chemicals that not only clean the plaque, but also corrode the enamel.

For the procedure you will need citric acid. We pour 200 g of acid into the toilet bowl and pour another 100 g into the drain tank, which also has a lot of lime deposits. It is better to do this at night, because the acid needs time to act. After 6-8 hours, the plaque will completely soften and fall off. If you decide to clean the toilet during the day, then the minimum time for which you should leave the acid is 3 hours. After that, clean the surfaces using a hard brush.

Cleaning experts assure: the effect will be noticeable after the first use. This hack can be used on other limescale surfaces as well.

By the way, during use, even a perfectly white toilet bowl can fade, become grayish or yellowish, especially if there is no regular cleaning. How vinegar can help to return the laundry to the toilet - read in this article.
