How to clean stainless steel to make it shine like new

Yulia PoteriankoLife
Caring for stainless steel surfaces can be quite simple

Stainless steel elements are a favorite technique in the design of modern interiors. Plumbing fixtures, cookware, appliance fronts, and even decorative items made of this material are used to give your home a stylish look. But caring for steel is not as easy as it seems - it easily leaves fingerprints, stains and even scratches.

The Sun has compiled several ways to easily clean stainless steel with improvised tools that will help you avoid these troubles.

Glass cleaner

Glass cleaners help keep windows and mirrors perfectly clean, but they are just as useful for steel products. Remove all visible dirt from the surface, spray any glass cleaner on it, and polish it with a soft microfiber cloth. You're done.

Flour

This fine product has a fairly low level of abrasiveness, so it is suitable for dry cleaning of stainless steel. Put a little flour on a microfiber cloth and wipe the surface. Rinse off any residue if necessary.

Vinegar and olive oil

Vinegar is a good solvent for stubborn dirt on the surface of stainless steel. Put it in a spray bottle and spray it on the stain, then wipe the area with a microfiber cloth. After that, you can apply a drop of olive oil to a clean cloth and gently polish the surface for extra shine.
