How to beautifully wrap oddly shaped gifts: holiday life hacks

A blogger under the name @mama_mila_ posted a useful video on the social network TikTok that will help you quickly cope with this. You will need festive paper, scissors, and tape.

The girl showed how to wrap a soft toy. At first glance, it seems to be a difficult task because you can't exactly repeat the shape of the toy, but the blogger found a universal way in the form of a Christmas cracker.

First, cut the paper to the right size, place the toy in the middle, connect both sides of the paper and secure it with tape. Then carefully remove the toy, press the paper to the table, and fold it to form a thin rectangle.

Next, fold the top and bottom of the paper about 5 centimeters and cut off the corners. When unfolded, it should be shaped like a Christmas cracker. Place the toy inside and tie it with a pretty ribbon.

If your gift is in the shape of a tube, don't worry, you can wrap it beautifully too. Measure the amount of paper you need and cut both sides into small, long strips of about two to three centimeters.

Next, put the gift on the paper, wrap it so that the strips are on top and bottom, and secure everything with tape. All the strips should be in the middle of the top and bottom of the item. Tie it with a festive ribbon or attach a bow.

If you want to present an item of an incomprehensible shape, the blogger has found a useful life hack for this as well. The girl showed how to do it using a cap as an example. Take the paper and place the cap in the middle, connect the two sides and secure them with tape.

Wrap the bottom part so that you get a flat bottom, like a gift bag. Wrap the paper on top, make handles and secure everything with tape.

The most common gift for the holidays is a bottle of alcoholic beverage, and it can also be packaged in an original way. To do this, place the bottle in the middle of the paper and secure it with tape. Fold the top part in the form of an accordion, and make a flat bottom from the bottom. Wrap everything with a festive ribbon.
