She showed that the ring of the cap, which everyone tears off and immediately throws in the trash, is actually intended for something else. If you tear it off, turn it the other way around (with the ring facing down), and insert it back into the bottle neck, you'll get a handy dispenser that leaks oil in a thin stream. The video went viral, garnering 5.5 million views and a whole bunch of enthusiastic comments.

Still, some commentators pointed out that such a dispenser could fall out as it is attached rather unreliably. However, a life hack that suggests inserting a special dispenser into the neck of the oil bottle, which can be purchased separately, is quite popular on the Internet. The teeth on its lid are supposedly designed to securely fasten it. Thus, you don't have to pour the oil into a special bottle for economical dosing.
